Overall, the better you take care of your extensions, the longer they will last. An important factor in expanding the lifespan of your extensions is by deep conditioning. It is great to deep condition them once a week (if you wear them often). Also, overnight deep conditioning with a small amount of Argan or Almond Oil is an extra step you can take in caring for your extensions. We recommend laying your extensions flat to dry on satin or silk.

Yes, you can wash your clip-in extensions, but it’s best to limit washing to 2–3 times per week and to avoid washing while worn. Gentle care will help maintain the extensions and your natural hair.

You can either let your hair air dry completely or let your hair air dry for a few minutes and then gently use a blow-dryer. Important: do not apply heat directly onto the bond.

Yes, you can wear your clip-ins every day, as they won’t cause any damage to your natural hair. However, we always recommend maintaining your extensions with proper care, especially when wearing them daily. This includes brushing them regularly and avoiding harsh heat styling tools.

Remove your Bombay Hair Clip-in extensions by gently unlatching the clips from your natural hair. After they’re unclipped, wefts are easily detached from where they were fastened. Once removed, store your clip-ins in a cool, dry area. We recommend our Bombay Hair Carrier Bag.
